BRAND STORY

Scythene Supplements is a US-based sports nutrition brand built around three principles: clinical-dose formulations, full label transparency, and independent third-party testing. The brand launched in 2026 under MPS LLC, a Florida-based company founded by registered dietitian Nelson Marques.

The supplement category is dominated by proprietary blends, label gymnastics, and products formulated to hit a price point rather than a clinical effect. Scythene exists to be the alternative — the line that an actual sports dietitian would recommend to the combat athletes and tactical operators they work with daily.

The line launches with a focused selection of foundational supplements: pre-workout, creatine monohydrate, and electrolytes. He has contracted with the UFC Performance Institute, supporting professional fighters through fight week weight cuts — high-stakes work where bad nutrition decisions cost athletes their paychecks, their rankings, and in extreme cases their kidneys or their lives. He currently advises a US pararescue unit in an active nutrition role and has worked with Green Berets and other special operators throughout his career.

Nelson founded Scythene Supplements after years of watching clients, athletes, and operators fall victim to supplements built on marketing hype instead of clinical evidence. Every Scythene product is formulated at clinical doses, every label discloses every ingredient down to the milligram, and every batch is tested by an independent third-party lab.

Nelson is based in Orlando, Florida, where he runs MPS LLC, the parent company of Scythene Supplements.
