Magnesium Bisglycinate

Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body — including ATP production, protein synthesis, muscle contraction, nerve function, and blood glucose regulation. Despite its critical importance, magnesium is one of the most common deficiencies in athletes due to sweat losses, inadequate dietary intake, and the high metabolic demands of training.

Bisglycinate chelate is magnesium bound to two glycine molecules, creating one of the most bioavailable and gentle-on-the-stomach forms available. Unlike magnesium oxide (which has ~4% absorption and causes GI distress), bisglycinate is absorbed via amino acid transport pathways, reaching significantly higher plasma levels.
